Lee Warren Hunter, Jr. age 78, of Leitchfield, formerly of California, passed away, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Owensboro Health-Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 24, 1944, in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to the late, Lee Warren Hunter, Sr. and Una Mae Duncan Hunter. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from October 1962-April 1966, during which time he did three tours in Vietnam. He retired as a supervisor for a wine club in the Napa Valley area and an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Wagner Hunter; a daughter, Tiffany Sweeney (Bryon) of Big Clifty; a brother, Allen Lehto of Wyoming; a sister, Cheryl McGuff of Alabama and seven grandchildren, Enoch, Isaiah, Noah, Demetrius, Anya, Levi and Rebekkah Nester.

Private services will be held at Watkins Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Leitchfield.
