Lawrence Ray Lindsey, age 78, of Leitchfield, passed away, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Norton's Brownsboro Hospital.
He was born October 13, 1942. He was sub-contractor for Horn's Plastering, Phar Shar Manufacturing and E-town Laundry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lindsey and Dolis Coy Horn; his step-father, Arthur Horn and two sisters, MayRee Lindsey and Betty Sue Horn.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Audrey Decker Lindsey; a daughter, Darlene Belcher and son-in-law, Gary of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Morgan Belcher (Brandon Hubbard) of Bowling Green, Taylor Belcher of Franklin and Chaise Belcher of Bowling Green; a great-grandchild, Ryleigh Hubbard; his siblings, Ova Lee Lindsey (Sharon, deceased) of White Mills, Charles Lindsey (Cleddie) and Wilbert Lindsey (Ernestine) all of Kentucky; Cathern Horn Wolfe (Bill) of Bowling Green and Carolyn Horn Alvey of Paris, Tennessee and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Hack officiating. Burial will follow in the Decker Holiness Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 PM, Saturday and after 9 AM, Sunday at the funeral home.
