Larry E. Portman, Sr. was born in Grayson County, KY. He was the son of Ervin and Margie Dennis Portman and was married to Kathleen Parsley Portman.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; mother, Margie; four sons: Larry Portman, Jr., Billy Portman, Corey Portman and Dustin Portman; one daughter Misty Embrey; ten Grandchildren; four brothers: Dale Portman, Ray Portman, Ronnie Portman and Cliff Hazelwood and three sisters: Evelyn Sims, Belinda Roof and Charlotte Angus.

He was preceded in death by his father Ervin Portman.

Visitation : Tuesday October 4 2016 after 11:00 AM CDT until time of service at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.

Services : Memorial Service at 1:00 PM CDT at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Rev . Steve Hohman officiating.

Interment : Cremation was chosen
