Larry James Johnson, age 60 of Leitchfield, KY passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and musician. He served our country honorably in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic and explosive expert. He was the County Surveyor for Breckenridge County and ran his own Land Survey business  for many years. He was the 2015 Rough River Angler of the year.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Johnson.

He is survived by his father, James (Anna Pearl) Johnson, five sisters, Linda (Ricky) Paul, Susan Padgett (Jeff), Jessica (Kevin) Napier, Kim (Jim) McNevin, Annie Hynes, one brother, Keith Johnson (Ron), two daughters, Jennifer Johnson Ward and Domoni Johnson Moffett, six stepchildren, John Wolfe, Marie Clayton, Paul (Cheryl) Whitehead, Mandy Whitehead (Jeremy), Mitchell (Carla) Mattingly, Anastasia Makarova and grandchildren.
