Juanita Dennis was born in Grayson Co., KY; the daughter of the late George and Ranie Mertle Kerr Powell.

She was a Housewife and member of Antioch General Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons Ronnie and Charles Dewain Van Meter; five grandchildren: Sharon Renee Stephens, Gregory Charles Van Meter, Christopher Charles Van Meter, Jeffrey Charles Van Meter and Melissa Kay Brown and four Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Doslee Van Meter who died in 1965; her second husband Herman Dennis who died in 1990 and a son Michael Van Meter who died in 1982 and her Parents.

Visitation : Tuesday March 12 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM; Wednesday after 9:00 AM at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home

Services : Wednesday March 13 2013 at 2:00 PM at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Rev. Damon Lasley. Jr. officiating.
