Joyce Lee Pile Whitfill, age 81, of the St. Paul Community, passed away, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the U of L Hospital.

She was born April 18, 1944, in Harned to the late, Jesse T. and Pauline Harned Pile. She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from Tell City Chair Factory and was an avid golfer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Ann Gibson and a brother, Wendall Pile.

Joyce is survived by her husband, James Michael Whitfill; a son, Joseph Michael Whitfill; two grandchildren, Alexis Whitfill (Cody) Meinhardt and Cameron Whitfill and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM (CST), Monday, November 3, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Suneesh Mathew officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM (CST), Sunday at Rogers Funeral Home and after 10 AM, Monday at the church.

Prayer service will be held at 6 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
