Joyce Webb Thompson, age 77, of Big Clifty, passed away, Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was born on February 9, 1949, in Upton, KY to the late Jack D. and Alma McDowell Webb. She was a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed animals and being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Thompson and two brothers, Jack William “Bill” Webb and Jerry Webb.

Joyce is survived by her two sons, Steven Thompson (Lee Ann) and Brian Thompson; five grandchildren, Kassidy Thompson, Trevor Thompson, Sam Wendt, Caleb Thompson and Dylan Thompson; six great-grandchildren, Skyler, Ayden, Gabriel, Devin, Eli and Addix; two sisters, Judy Webb Sipes and Janice Horn; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM (CT), Friday August 14, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Little Flock Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM, Thursday, and after 9 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
