God has been preparing a home in Heaven for a special little boy, and on Saturday morning, May 26, 2012, Joshua Daniel Birch was called to his new home.

Little Joshua, 2 years of age, departed this world surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. He will truly be missed, but now has a new body, free from struggles.

Joshua was born in Bowling Green, KY., on October 22, 2009 to Jarrod and April Higdon Birch.

His favorite toys were his tractors and he loved going fishing, riding the gator and swimming in his pool.

He is survived by his mother and father, April and Jarrod Birch of Bowling Green, his paternal grandparents, Randell and Donna Buster Birch of Leitchfield, maternal grandparents, Doug and Janie Haycraft Higdon of Leitchfield, paternal great-grandparents, Curtis and Frances Sipes Birch of Leitchfield and John and Dorothy Beauchamp Buster of Falls of Rough, maternal great-grandparents, Altus and Wanda Higdon of Clarkson and maternal great-grandfather, Glen Haycraft of Leitchfield.

Other survivors include his aunts and uncles, Jaime and Tony Musa of Florida and Cara and Brian Skaggs of Leitchfield and two special cousins. Also surviving is his special puppy, Simba and many very special friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Gladys Wilkins.

Little Joshua's life was short on this earth, but the memories he gave us will live in out hearts forever. We love you, little one.

Visitation : Friends may call at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home on Tuesday May 29 2012 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm continuing at 8:00 am Wednesday until time of service.

Services : Funeral service is at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 30 2012 at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Johnson officiating.

Interment : Burial to follow in Basham Cemetery.
