John Parker Morton III "Jack", age 78 of Lexington, KY passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Lexington after a long illness. He was born on March 30, 1939, son of the late John Parker Morton, Jr. and Dorothy Doutaz.

Mr. Morton was a self-employed Landscaper and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

Mr. Morton is survived by three daughters; Terrie Lynn Mendez (Bobby), Linda Marie Thomason (Bobby) and Karen LeAnn Morton (Larry);  seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four sisters; Julie Renfro Raymer, Margie Hood (Eddie), Bonnie Shockley (Benny), Kathy Kimbel (Butch), one sister in law Barbra Morton (David) one brother; Stephen Morton (Sherry); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents John Parker Morton, jr and Dorothy Doutaz Morton one brother; David Morton.

Visitation will be: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home until time of service at the church.

Funeral: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 3:00PM CST at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Hohman officiating.

Burial to follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
