John Wayne Howard, age 47 of Big Clifty, Kentucky passed away, Tuesday October 1, 2024, at his residence in Big Clifty.

He was born, July 20, 1977, in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Murray Wayne and Gerline Willis Howard. He was a member of Freedom's Way Church in Cecilia, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gerline Willis Howard; grandparents, Willie and Edith Howard, and Noble and Elsie Willis; one brother, Donnie Howard; and one half-sister, Kay Brewer.

He is survived by his father, Murray Wayne Howard; two brothers, Ronnie "Bub" Howard and Darrell Howard (Lora); and one nephew Bradley Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM (CT), Wednesday October 9, 2024, at Freedom's Way Church in Cecilia, Kentucky with Rev. Kim Tuck officiating. Burial will follow at Freedom's Way Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8PM (CT) Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson, Kentucky and Wednesday after 9AM (CT) until time of service at the church.
