John Larmer Hoover, age 79, of Clarkson Ky passed away on September 9, 2013 at his residence.

He was a retired Air Force Veteran and retired Park Ranger at Rough River State Resort Park, and a member of Eastview Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Howard and Edith Morrison Hoover.

Mr. Hoover is survived by one son; Kendall Hoover, two daughters; Caroline Vincent and her husband Bob, Maria Nance and her husband Keith, one sister Sandra Elmendorf and her husband Richard, two grandsons; Nick Vincent and his wife Stacey and Austin Nance; one granddaughter Riley Nance, and three great-grandchildren; Alison Vincent, Adalynn Vincent and Josiah Vincent.

Visitation : Visitation will begin Thursday September 12 from 2:00-8:00pm and continue Friday morning from 9:00am till time of service.

Services : Friday September 13 2013 @12:00pm at Rogers Oller Funeral Home

Interment : Clarkson Cemetery
