John Joseph Cieniawa, age 88, of Louisville, KY passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Hillcreek Nursing and Rehab in Louisville.

He was born April 18, 1931 in Hazleton, PA., son of Joseph and Susan (Hamecs) Cieniawa and was married to Lillie Mae Cieniawa.

He was a retired Crane Operator for US Steel-Farless Works and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Mr. Cieniawa is survived by a special friend, Starry Bonds and Catherine, wife of his sister.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
