Jo Ann Smith, age 69, crossed the threshold of life into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at her residence, surrounded by family and friends.

She was a faithful member of Eveleigh Independent Church, where she served as Treasurer for many years. Jo Ann retired from Warren Rural Electric in January 2004, after 33 years as a Customer Service Representive.

She was the daughter of the late Willard and Mary Dennison Ramsey.

Jo Ann and her husband, Jimmie Lloyd, were married for 51 years and this union was blessed with one daughter and two grandsons, all of whom were the joy of her life.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter; Robin (Garry) Embry, grandsons; Matt (Heather) and Trent Embry, one sister; Tessie Baier, one brother; Dennie (Brenda) Ramsey,several nephews and nieces and a host of friends.

I will always keep the memory of special joys we have shared close to my heart.

Visitation : Friends may call after 2:00 pm Thursday September 2 continuing at 8:00 am Friday until time of service at the church

Services : 11:00 am Friday September 3 at Eveleigh Independent Church with Bro. Jay Kiper officiating.

Interment : Mt. Vernon Cemetery
