Jo Ann Beasley Nelson Decker, age 73, of Leitchfield, was born on April 19, 1953, and passed away on September 15, 2026.

She was a homemaker and a member of Blowtown House of Prayer. She was a good Christian lady who loved her family, church family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Flossie and Vernie Jones and her first husband, Doug Nelson.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Larry Decker; a daughter, Sandra Ward (Shannon); a son, Tommy Nelson (Cherish); three stepchildren, Bradley Decker, Shannon Gibson and Shauna Decker; a sister, Barbara White; four brothers, Jeff Jones, Eddie Beasley, Jimmie Beasley and Timmy Jones; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (CT), Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Watkins Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Decker officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM, Friday and after 9 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
