Jerry Norman Nichols, age 85, of Leitchfield, passed away, Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Grayson Nursing and Rehab.

He was born May 7, 1938, in Grayson County, to the late Powell and Pearl Cain Nichols. He worked in the Hardware business all his life. He had a love for horses, and he enjoyed cutting up and making people laugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Armes Nichols and a sister, Stella Carby.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Tamie (Billy) Bertram and Rosie (Jim) McCombs; one granddaughter, Christina (Shane) Decker; three great-grandchildren and a special niece.

Cremation was chosen and there will be a private burial at Lile Cemetery.
