Janell Lawrence Hack, age 88 of Louisville formally of Leitchfield, KY., passed away on Sunday at the Masonic Home in Louisville where she had lived since 1994.
She was the daughter of the late Esker and Sally Tomes Lawrence and was married to the late Bishop Hack.
She was a graduate of Sunfish High School, a homemaker and loving mother of three sons. Janell was initiated into the Eastern Star in 1951 and was a former member of Little Clifty Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing card games with her friends at the Masonic Home.
She is survived by her three sons; Ron Hack, Roscoe Hack and Charles Richard Hack.
Other survivors include her grandchildren; Jeffrey Daniel Hack, Christina Marie Mudd, Jeremey Coleman Welsh, Pepper Nichole Phelps, Gina Byerline and Susan Hack and her great-grandchildren; Layla Marie Mudd, Adrian (A.J.) Byerline and Angel Welsh.
Mrs. Hack was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother; Hoyt Lawrence.
Visitation : Friends may call at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home on Friday April 11 2014 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM(CDT)
Services : Funeral services will be at 1:00PM on Friday April 11 2014 at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home.
Interment : Burial will follow in Little Clifty Baptist Church Cemetery.
