James Michael Young was born in White Mills, KY. He was the son of James Hayward and Dorothy Richardson Young.

He was a retired Welder for Marley Cooling Co., in Louisville; a member of VFW in Leitchfield; involved in 4H in Bullitt and Grayson Counties and an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by a daughter Allyson Condra (Dale); two granddaughters Chloey and Maecy Condra; his father Hayward Young; four brothers David, Ricky, Tony and Gary Young; two sisters Darlene Shircliff and Shirley Ennis.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Richrdson Young.
