James Hancil Skaggs, age 82, of Big Clifty, KY passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born February 11, 1932 , son of the late Sam and Addie Hatfield Skaggs.

He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church, Big Clifty Masonic Lodge #599 and a retired Maintenance Supervisor/ Machinist for Brown Williamson.

Mr. Skaggs is survived by his wife Hazel Skaggs; three daughters, Judith Faye Sciarra (Edward), Brenda Kay Risinger (James) and Lavina West, thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one brother; Vanley Skaggs.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Felix Skaggs; one daughter, Theresa Gammon,four brothers, Rudolph, Howard, George Lee and Lonnie and two sisters, Edna Hornback and Ella Meredith.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home on Friday November 7 2013 from 2 - 8pm CST and after 9am Saturday until time of service.

Services : Funeral and Masonic services will be at 1pm Saturday Noverber 8 2013 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Joe Brooks officiating.

Interment : Burial will follow in Little Flock Cemetery.
