James Clayton Nichols was born in Grayson Co. He was retired from manufacturing at Gamble Brothers. He was a member of Clarkson Baptist Church.

He is survived by three daughters; Joyce C. Chumbley (Gil) of Bardstown, Wanda L. Crawford(Allen) of Clarkson, Bobbi S. Nichols of Louisville, one Son-in-Law Norman Underwood of Elizabethtown, one brother Thaddius Nichols of Mt. Washington, and one sister Rita King of Cleveland TN.

Preceeded in death by his wife Aline Williams Nichols, his father, Sherman Nichols, his mother Valerie Bernice Horn, one brother Eugene Nichols, one daughter Doris Underwood, and one granddaughter Regina Underwood.

Visitation : FridayMarch 30 from 2-8 p.m. continuing on Saturday at Clarkson Baptist Church from 9-2p.m.

Services : Saturday March 31 2:00 at Clarkson Baptist Church
