James E. Lush, age 85, passed away on December 25, 2014.

He was a retired employee of Louisville Cooperage where he worked for 41 years, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a Catholic.

Preceding him in death was his daughter, Agnes Doreen Lush; his parents, Albert and Hettie Lush, and several siblings.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Catherine (Grant) Lush; his children, Joseph Keith Lush, Sr. (Shirley), Frances Karen Mudd (Mike), and James Kevin Lush; grandchildren, Joseph Keith Lush, Jr., Amanda Ruchelle Bales (Kyle), Crystal Dawn Owen, and Michelle Wetzel (Mike); great-grandchildren, Chloe, Molly, Gracie and Tyler; brothers, William Lush (Freda), and Joseph Lush (Barbara); sisters, Margie Higdon and Elizabeth Clark (Eugene); and special friend, Zach Ballard.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home after 9a.m.(CST) Monday December 29 2014

Services : Funeral service will be at 12pm (CST)on Monday December 29 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Interment : Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
