Mr. James "Richard" Jarboe, age 71 of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on January 28, 2018.  Mr. Jarboe was a small business owner who owned a very successful construction company.

Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Henry and Estella Hill Jarboe; and siblings, Shirley Gordon, Tommy and Louis Jarboe. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 35 years, Jean Etheredge Jarboe; children, Rick Jarboe (Betsey) and Mike Jarboe (Shannon); grandchildren: Alicia, Mackenzee, America, Rylee,  Kattie and Bella;  siblings: Victor Jarboe (Rebecca), Charlie Jarboe (Michelle), Pat Jarboe (JoAnn), Mark Jarboe (Cathy),  Maurice Jarboe (Shelley), Walter Jarboe (Cassie), Margaret Jarboe,,Carol Howard and Henry Jarboe (Eve); and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may pay their respect on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 1-5 PM at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).
