James Gregory Downs, age 61 of Clarkson passed away on September 22, 2016 at his home. He was born in Grayson County, KY. He was the son of James A. and Carolyn Whitaker Downs.

He was a Self-employed Auto Mechanic.

He is survived by his mother Carolyn Downs; three brothers: Bryan Downs (Elois), David Downs (Patti) and Bill Downs; a sister Marianne Downs; four nephews: Tyler, Zach, Janus and Oliver;three nieces: Erin, Amelia and Molly.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Downs; grandparents: Rev. Squire and Nelda Whitaker and Earl and Eunice Downs.
