James Louis Cundiff, Jr., age 55, of Big Clifty, passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Born on January 17, 1971, in Elizabethtown, he was the son of Shirley Horn Cundiff and the late James Louis Cundiff, Sr. James was employed at Soudal in Elizabethtown. He enjoyed 3D printing, arcade games, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with his beloved wife and dogs.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jessie Horn.

James is survived by his loving wife, Paula Taylor Cundiff; his mother, Shirley Cundiff; and his sister, Angela Cundiff.

Funeral services will be held a 6 PM (CT), Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson with Bro. Greg Harry officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. (CT) until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in James’s memory to the Lawler Elementary Music Department or any Grayson County School Band Program. Donations may be made at the funeral home.
