James Carby, age 68, of Big Clifty, KY passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.

He was born in Grayson County, KY., son of Robert and Mary Manion Carby. He was a member of Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church, a retired Machinist from Vermont America and a Veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Carby is survived by four children; Paige Shiarella, Marty Carby, Chelsey Carby and Brad Carby; one brother, Carlos Carby, two sisters; Jeanetta Clemons and Debbie Carby.

Twelve Grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 2 -8 PM (CDT) Monday March 28 2016 and from 9AM - 12:30 Tuesday.

Services : Funeral service will be at 1PM (CDT) on Tuesday March 29 2016 at Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment : Burial to follow in New Lone Oak Cemetery.
