Helen Ivene Pence was born in Grayson Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Vada Hatfield Staples.

She was married to Farley T. Pence for 50 years.

Helen was a farming housewife; an employee of Hardin Co. Board of Education for 20 years and a member of Summit Church of Christ.

She is survived by her Husband; a son Danny (Sandy) Pence; a granddaughter Kayla Pence; a special sister Wanda (Paul) Huffer; two brothers Jerry (Sarah) Staples and Donald (Debbie) Staples; several Nieces and Nephews and a special caregiver Roberta Hart.

Visitation : Tuesday September 03 2013 from 1-8 PM CDT at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home

Services : Wednesday September 04 2013 at 10:00 AM CDT at Summit Church of Christ with Bro. Sam Dick officiating.

Interment : Summit Methodist Church Cemetery
