Gilbert Cochran, age 76, of Caneyville passed away July 4, 2012 at his residence.

He was a retired farmer and a member of New Image Gospel Singers.

Gilbert was the son of the late George and Maggie Jenkins Cochran and was married to the late Virginia Pate Cochran.

He is survived by three sons; Clyde, David and James Cochran and one daughter; Sharon Haynes.

Other survivors include eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother; Claude Cochran and three sisters; Hazel Minton, Katie Poindexter and Etta Rodrigges.

Visitation : Friends may call at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home from 1:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday continuing at 9:00 AM Saturday until time of service.

Services : Funeral service is at 11:00 AM Saturday at Watkins-Oller Funeral Chapel with Bro. Don Powell Jr. officiating.

Interment : Burial will follow in the Kelly Cemetery.
