Gerry Block, age 80, of Leitchfield, passed away at her residence Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Gerry was the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Harris Darst.

She was a member of Clarkson Baptist Church and a retired cashier from Houchins Market.

Gerry is survived by two sons, Mike Block and Rick Block, both of Leitchfield, KY. and two daughters, Ellen Hoff of Leitchfield, KY. and Lori Tanner of East Palatka, Florida.

Other survivors include four brothers, Larry Darst of Leitchfield, KY., Bobby Darst of Calvert City, KY., Jimmy Darst of Louisville, KY. and Roger Darst of Louisville, KY., two sisters, Beulah Whitfill of Louisville, KY and Catherine Gawarecki of Leitchfield, KY., fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jeanie Grant and one brother, Harold Darst.

In leiu of flowers donations may be made to Hosparus or Right To Life.

Visitation : Friends from 3:00 - 8:00 PM Monday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday at Clarkson Baptist Church from 9:30 until time of service.

Services : Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday January 24 2012 at Clarkson Baptist Church. Bro. Art Hatfield and Bro. Arnold Moon will officiate.

Interment : Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
