George Smith, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY passed away June 4, 2016 at his home. He was born in Grayson County, KY., son of George A. and Bertha (Clemons) Smith and was married to his wife Trecy Smith for 67 years and they were blessed with six children.

Mr. Smith was a retired Carpenter, WWII Veteran, member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife; Trecy Smith, two sons; George A. Smith (Sandy) and Scott Smith (Amy), four daughters; Mary Ann Smith, Susie Harrington (Terry), Kathy Rooks (Hollie) and Shelia Clemons (James).

Other survivors include eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three sisters; Kathern Kelty, Joyce Hopper and Rose Mary Deawood.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 11am -8 pm (CDT) Monday June 6 2016 and after 9am Tuesday. Prayer service will be at 6pm Monday at the funeral home.

Services : Funeral Mass will be at 11am Tuesday June 7 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Interment : Burial will follow in St. Anthomy Cemetery.
