Gathel Allen was born in Grayson Co., KY. He was the son of the late Wilford and Anna Spencer Allen. He attended the Holiness Church. He is survived by four sisters Frances Geary, Janice Johnson, Shirley Terry and Darlene Allen and one brother Harold Allen.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and one brother Lacey James Allen.

Visitation : Monday March 24 2014 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home after 10:00 AM CDT until time of service.

Services : Monday March 24 2014 at 1:00 PM CDT at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Taylor and Bro. James Ellington officiating.

Interment : Mt. Zion Cemetery
