Frank Prewitt, age 74, of Leitchfield passed away, Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro.

He was born July 31, 1949, in Leitchfield, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Prewitt Sr. and Helen Puckett Cummings. He was a painter by trade, a devoted Christian, he enjoyed watching wrestling, and fishing. He enjoyed buying and selling junk. He loved his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gay Tervern Prewitt; four grandchildren, Christoper Schenk Jr., Shyann Prewitt, Jesse James Prewitt Jr., and Jamie Prewitt Jr.; and five brothers.

Frank is survived by four sons, Frank James Prewitt (Judy), Jesse James Prewitt (Sonseeray), Matthew Prewitt (Tammy), and Jason Prewitt (Denise); one daughter, Lynda Schenk Prewitt; and twelve grandchildren, Shyann (Terrance), Damien (Hannah), Tyler, Jayden, Braxton, Harley (Summer), Justin, Destin, Kyle, Reba, Angel, and Dolly; a special granddaughter, Danielle Prewitt and several great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Longberry.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM (CDT), Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Watkins Funeral Home, in Leitchfield with Bro. Joey Decker and Bro. Johnny Embry officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 2PM to 7PM, and after 9AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
