Farley T. Pence, age 77, of Big Clifty, passed away, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Baptist Health Hardin.

Farley was born September 17, 1943, to the late Lawrence and Hettie N. Pence. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Helen Ivene Pence and a sister, Verlie Mae Walker.

Farley was a member of the Summit Church of Christ; a full-time farmer and worked for the Hardin Co. Board of Education as a bus driver for 17 years. Farming was his passion in life. He loved what he did, and it was something he took great pride in. Even with all the health issues he had in the last few years, his dedication never failed even through all the pain.

He is survived by a son, Danny (Sandy) Pence; a granddaughter, Kayla D. Pence; a sister-in-law, Wanda Huffer and two nieces.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM (CST), Monday, December 14, 2020, at Summit United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sam Dick officiating.

A drive by visitation will be held under the carport at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 1:30 to 5 PM (CST), Sunday.
