Edward Eugene Ward, age 81, of Fairdale, passed away, Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Norton Audubon Hospital.

He was born August 16, 1939, in Jefferson County to the late, Theodore Francis and Daisy Evelyn Conway Ward. He was a member of the Church of Our Savior in Louisville and was a retired replacement operator with General Electric after 32 years of service.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Linda Cripps Ward; three sons, Michael (Debbie) Ward, David (Lynette) Ward and Eric Ward; a daughter, Melissa (Dave) Warner; four brothers, Jerry, David, Donnie and Steven Ward; a sister, Threasa Luttrell; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (CDT), Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson with Pastor Charles Homes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazelwood Cemetery in Leitchfield.

Visitation will be after 10 AM (CDT), Thursday at the funeral home.
