Eugene Smith was born in Grayson Co. KY. the son of the late George Allen and Bertha Belle(Clemons) Smith, and was married to Georgetta Smith.

Mr. Smith was a retired engineer for the State of Kentucky, he served as a past Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus Council 6742,and a recipient of a Kentucky Colonel.

Mr Smith was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr Smith is survived by his wife, Georgette Smith, four sons: Doug(Mary), Phillip(Tracie), Tom and Gil Smith, one daughter, Annette Kirkwood, six grandchildren: Alex, Jared, Wes, Matthew, Amber, Dustin, and one great-grandchild, Jordan.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 3 -8 Monday September 1 2014

Services : Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am Tuesday September 2 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Interment : Burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
