Ernest Board was born in Grayson Co., KY. He was the son of Hobson and Ethel Lashley Board.

He was a member of Mt. Hebron Gospel Mission Church.

He is survived by one sister Elaine B. Ashley and two nephews Brent and Phillip Linzy.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.
