Ellsworth "Lee" Howerton, age 82, of Clarkson passed away Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Springview Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born in French Lick, Indiana, to Claude Obediah and Sylvia Ann Archer Howerton. He was preceded in death by his brother Orin Hugh Howerton.

Lee was very proud of his service in the U.S. Army, and of being a Mason. He also was a faithful member of Leitchfield United Methodist Church, member of French Lick Lodge #586 F&AM and retired from Hotel Management. Lee loved his fix-it projects, music, puzzles, golf, fishing, his coin collection, and telling a good story. His spunky sense of humor was with him to the end.

Lee is survived by his daughter; Sherri Lee Wilson, three granddaughters; Chelsea Wilson, Devin Wilson and Amelia Wilson and his Loving Companion; Nelda Butler; and her two sons David Butler and Dan (Wanda) Butler.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00PM(CST) on Friday November 20 2015 and after 9:00AM Saturday until time of service.

Services : Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM(CST) on Saturday November 21 2015 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Chapel. Rev. David Harding will officiate.

Interment : Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery.
