Edward J. Rak, age 81, of Clarkson, passed away, Saturday, September 13, 2025, at U of L Health-Jewish Hospital.

He was born March 13, 1944, in East Chicago, Indiana, to Edward and Genevieve Bargo Rak.  Edward was a proud father and grandfather; his children and grandchildren loved him very much. He was a former security guard and enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Pamela Bishop Rak; his mother, Genevieve Bargo Rak; a daughter, Lisa Lindsay (David); two sons, David Rak and Jeffery Rak (Kristie); two sisters, Leslie Strohl (Lynn) and Vicki Henderson (Mike); one brother, William Rak; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Rak; and a brother, Curtis Rak.

Visitation will be held 3 PM to 7 PM (CT), Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson.

Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
