Edward Lee Powell, age 70, of Clarkson passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born on April 25, 1945 in Grayson County, KY., son of Alfie Lee and Della Francis (Alvey) Powell. He was never married. He was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. On August 3, 1957 at the age of 12, Edward was saved at Lone Oak Baptist Church and was baptized on August 18.

Edward is survived by four sisters; Rose (Curtis) Webb, Wanda (Gary) Milliner, Darlene (Tom) Franklin and Kathy (Roscoe) Vincent; three brothers, Kenneth Powell, Anthony Powell and Roy (Linda) Powell, eight nephews and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by his Parent; one sister Rita Powell and two brothers; Norman Powell and Carlie Powell.

Visitation : Firends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 1 -8 PM (CDT) on Saturday April 9 2016 and after 9AM Sunday.

Services : Funeral service will be at 2PM (CDT) on Sunday April 10 2016 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Bro. Joe Brooks and Bro. Thomas Meredith will officiate.

Interment : Burial in Rock Creek Cemetery.
