Edith Louise Filkin Hodge, age 70, of Leitchfield, passed away, Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was born January 9, 1953, in Illinois to the late, Milford and Bessie Stucker Filkin. She was retired from UPS and enjoyed watching tv and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy and Charles Filkin and two sisters, Liz Gilbert and Kay Gilbert.

Edith is survived by two sons, John (Abby) Flores of Caneyville and David (Kelly) Flores of Leitchfield; two sisters, Pat (Joel) Johnson of Clarkson and Linda Clark of Leitchfield; a brother, James Filkin of Chicago and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 2:00PM (CDT) Saturday August 12, 2023 at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Saturday at the  funeral home.
