Dorothy Powell, age 79, passed away Sunday, November 7,at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Grayson, Co., KY., the daughter of the late Delbert and Lorenza Duncan Carby.

Dorothy was married to the late Sammy Powell and they were the parents of two chldren. She was a Farm wife and a member of Broadford Baptist Church.

Dorothy is survived by her son; Bentley Powell and wife, Etta, her daughter; Ja Neice Riggs and husband, Buddy.

Other survivors include one sister; Charline Clemons, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister; Edra Nell Powell.

Visitation : 5:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.

Services : 11:00 am Thursday November 11 2010 at Broadford Baptist Church.

Interment : Broadford Cemetery.
