Dorothy Mae Dennison Armstrong, born January 1, 1943 in Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on October 24, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gladys Carter Dennison.

Dorothy was a homemaker and dedicated her life to caring for her five children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, her parents and her late husband of 49 years, Clinton Armstrong, plus several other neighbors and friends. She was a lifelong member of Hanging Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Dorothy is survived by her five children, Terry (Mona), Troy (Theresa), Tracey (Laymon) Dennis, Thomas and Travis; She also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren and forty-six great grandchildren, and twins due in December; one sister, Donna Wooden; three sisters-in-law, Patty Dennison, Kathy Dennison, and Virginia Armstrong; two brothers-in-law, Cecil Armstrong and J.T. Armstrong; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Randall, Jackie, JW, and Steve Dennison; one sister JoAnn Probus; and one grandson, Deuce Dunn.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM (CDT), Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Hanging Rock Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy McIntosh and Bro. Daniel Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the Hanging Rock Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8PM, Friday at Watkins Funeral Home and after 9AM until the time of the service, Saturday at Hanging Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
