Donald "Don" L. Cooper, age 73 of Big Clifty, KY passed away May 31, 2017 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born September 7, 1943 in Jefferson County, KY., son of Louis and Lucille (Miller) Cooper.

He was married to Sharon (Schulten) Cooper.

Mr. Cooper was a Lead Foreman at Vermont America, member and deacon at Clarkson Baptist Church, member and former Fire Chief of East Grayson County Fire Department. He was an avid UK fan and loved the farm.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Sharon Cooper; daughter, Laura (Roy) Green; son, Marty (Jeni) Cooper; sister, Ann (Arlie) Tucker.

Also surviving are four grandchildren: Ciara, Camryn, Zaleah, and Autumn and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 3:00PM - 8:00PM (CDT) on Friday June 2 2107 and after 9:00AM Saturday.

Services : Funeral service at 11:00AM (CDT) on Saturday June 3 2017 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Bro. Art Hatfield and Bro. John Whittaker will officiate.

Interment : Burial in Cloverport Cemetery.
