Deirdre (Miller) Powell, age 54, of Upton, KY passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Deirdre was born in Grayson County, KY., daughter of James and Josephine (Kessinger) Miller and was married to Kevin Powell. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church and earned her B.A. of Science Degree at Western Kentucky University.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Powell; three children; Laressa Carter and her husband Chad, Levi Powell and LaKenzie Powell, her parents; James and Josephine Miller, one sister; Debbie King and her grandson; Tait Carter.

Visitation : Friends may call at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home from 1 - 8(CDT) on Thursday July 28 2016 and after 9AM Friday.

Services : Funeral service will be at 11:00AM Friday July 29 2016 at Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Charles Larry Bell will officiate.

Interment : Burial in New Lone Oak Cemetery.
