Clydus Gibson was born on June 10, 1931 in Grayson County to the late Thomas and Milvinia Williams Gibson.

Clydus was a retired farmer and retired from General Plywood. He was the father of six surviving children; Danny (Belinda) Gibson of Clarkson, Kay Hack of Indiana, Haskell (Linda) Gibson of Indiana, Roxanna (Greg) Whitmer of Louisville, Cammy (Mike) Cooper of Indiana and Barbara Gibson of Indiana.

Thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive as well as several nieces and nephews.

Clydus was preceded in death by his parents, one son; James Gibson, four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation : Friends after 12:00 noon CDT on Sunday continuing at 8:00 am Monday until time for services at church.

Services : 11:00 am Monday October 25th.at Sulphur Wells Church.

Interment : Gibson Cemetery
