Chester Clemons, age 87, of Clarkson, KY. passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Hospice of Bowling Green, KY.

He was born in Grayson County, KY.,the son of the late Oliver and Gertrude Johnston Clemons.

Chester was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Anthony Catholic Church.

He was married to Thelma Pawley Clemons and the father of two daughters.

Chester is survived by his wife, two daughters; Barbara Hines (Scott Duncan) of Bowling Green, Sandy Romano "Fernando" of Westfield, NJ. Other survivors include four sisters; Eunice Noble of Mt. Washington, KY., Eula Lee of Florida, Patricia Rustici of Pennsylvania, Shirley VanHooser of Georgia and several nephews and neices.

He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers; Raymond, Cyril and Roy Clemons and two sisters; Monica Meredith and Hazel Wernert.

Visitation : Friends may call from 3:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday and after 8:00 am Monday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Prayer services will be at 7:00 pm Sunday.

Services : Funeral services at 11:00 am Monday July 11 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Johnson officiating.

Interment : Burial to follow in St. Anthomy Cemetery.
