Bernard Portman was born in Grayson Co., KY the son of Jake and Julia Milliner Portman

He was a Rooker and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church

He is survived by two sons Joe and Raymond Portman; two daughters Sharon Portman and Pat Lampton; thirteen Grandchildren ; twenty-two Great-grndchildren and one sister Rose Milliner.

He was preceded in death by his Parnts, a son Sam Portman, eight brothers: Ben,Irvin, Carl, Rob, Steve, Lawrence, Herb and Jimmy Portman and one sister Lizzie Florence.
