Charleen Sandlin Lasley, age 92, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at her son's home in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born March 16, 1931, in Annetta, Kentucky, to the late Pleasant and Geneva Crain Sandlin. She was a homemaker who loved working outside growing her tomatoes, cucumbers, and other produce.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ova Lasley; one daughter, Vanessa White; and eight brothers and sisters, Herman, Earnest, J.B., Charles, James, Prentice, Nellene Warren and Eloise Jarboe.

Charleen is survived by her son, Jerry Lasley (Sandy); two daughters, Carolyn Young (Tony), and Coretta Wilbert (Jeff); nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters, Wendell, Roger, Ovie, Kenneth, Cleddie Lindsey and Lillie Ausbon.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM (CST), Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Rogers Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Peonia Christian Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday after 10 AM, until the time of the service at Rogers Funeral Home.
