Cecil Cockerel, age 74 of Big Clifty, passed away on August 14, 2016 at Kensington Center in Elizabethtown KY.

He was the son of Johnny and Minta Cockerel and was married to Theresa Cockerel.

He is survived by his Wife, a daughter Doris Cockerel; a son Cecil Cockerel, JR.; two step-daughters: Vickey Smith and Tonya Mattingly; two step-sons: Jeff Akers and Willis Richardson; one sister Bea Sherrard; six Step-grandchildren and one Step-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, and one grandson Josh Cockerel.
