Carlos Gene Priddy, age 90, of Upton, passed away, Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.

He was born on July 1, 1931, in Hart County, KY., to the late, Cora Hodge and Gola Priddy.

He was a farmer that loved his church and his family. He belonged to the Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving husband of 53 years and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Arvilla Hawkins Priddy and a son, Donald Gene Priddy.

He is survived by a son, Danny Priddy (Jewell) of Upton; a daughter, Sharon Ramsey (Glen) of Clarkson; eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, (CDT), Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Adam Jenkins and Bro. Cecil Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 AM, to 8 PM, Saturday and from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, Sunday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.
