Carl Michael Sims, age 45, of Leitchfield, passed away, Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He was born on January 24, 1981, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to Ricky Sims and the late Patricia Overby Sims. He was an electrician, who enjoyed rebuilding computers, being outdoors and working on race cars.

Carl is survived by his dad, Ricky Sims and his brother, Eric Sims.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Sims.

Private services will be held at a later date
