Bro. Charles Larry Bell, age 85, of Clarkson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

He was born on June 20, 1941, in Grayson County to the late Shelby and Elizabeth Dunn Bell. He was a faithful member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Bell had been an ordained Missionary Baptist preacher for 44 years and had pastored nine churches during that time. He was a small-engine mechanic and enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and farming. Most of all, he loved the Lord and going to church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Diana Smith Bell; a daughter, Charlcy Bell; a son, Jeff Bell (Michelle); four grandchildren, Aaron Bell, Ryan Bell, Kristen Benham (Adam), and Lauren Collins; two great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Brooks Benham; two sisters, Mary Jane Butler and Shelby Jean Quiggins; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM (CT), Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Jerry Weedman and Bro. Austin Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM (CT), Wednesday, at Rogers Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM, Thursday, at the church
